OK, all three debates are complete. I know that everyone here, myself included, is leaning towards the right (GW), but let's get some honest assessments of the debate results. The third debate was certainly the "closest" as far as the polls say. How do we all feel? For the record, I thought GW seemed nervous and somewhat uncertain at times. Gore is definately the better "speaker" of the two. With that said, if Gore gets in I'm moving to another country! When that sweathog says "hello" I can't believe him. He represents EVERYTHING that is wrong with politics. Now excuse me whilst I throw up...

I'm not a die-hard conservative, but do tend to lean right. I admit to having a particular hatred for Gore and everything he stands for. Having said that I think that most objective observers could agree that Al Gore represents all that is bad in politics, the quintessential politician who is nakedly open about saying anything to get a vote. Yes all politicians, like any salesmen, need to do that to a certain degree as it is just part and parcel of the job. But with a straight face this guy is king of panderers whether its a black church, soccer moms, whoever. His paternalistic "let me take care of your life, because you can't take care of yourself" slant is for lazy people who depend on others. Or as Phil Gramm says, for those who are riding in the wagon and not pulling it. The worst part is that some otherwise sensible people are voting for him because he just makes them "feel" better. How pathetic. And much has been made of how "smart" Al Gore is and what a swell debater he is. Do you want the nerd at the front of the class to lead this country? Not me. Yeah, so he can argue the fine points of the Dingell-Norwood bill and knows more about the greenhouse effect than GWB. Is that a leader? Many men were smarter than Lincoln, Reagan, TR, and other great presidents, each considered unfit for office before being elected. I want a leader with a big picture view and a vision. Why does everyone overlook that?
Of course I could be wrong.

Na Kevin i think you said it right, this Country needs a strong leadership not some wishy washy, But Many People Voye Democratic Beacuse thats the way there whole family is and that is what allot of people ride on.. and Republican also.. I vote for who I feel will do the best job in that office.. I do care where my country is headed. and I have hard feelings that i hold in because its the thing to do.. But when I know I still have my rights.. and one is to vote. It will be for the right person for that office.. I have watched the demorelizing of this country for the past 8 yrs with the addministration we have now and I am like Tailgater it makes me sick to see this happen and its like the American people do not care.. Biggest thing is they care.. they just do not take the time out to show it.. Bill's living from one paycheck to the next struggling to get by.. it builds on them and they blow off there important agendas (right to Vote)
(Knowing who is right for the Job)etc. I talked to 3 people just this week who forgot to register.. I left there presence with a feeling of Guilt.. Because I could have called them. Now I am not sure that would have made them remember on the final day to do so.. But Like I said many people are busy trying to stay afloat.. I know those are 3 more votes GWB needs for himself!!!! if you ever get the chance Read the Book By H norman Swartzcoft (Doesn't Take a Hero) Great biik and that tells little about Cheney and the Morals and Ethics of GWB raised from a great Man himself. His Dad...........
