Whew.

Ever get the feeling you might have been ripped off? You're like "where's the emails?" and you don't think you're gonna get what you paid for. That sinking feeling in the gut and then your faith in Humanity get restored when you get a text. A confirmation that your request was completed.

You're welcome MACS for the d!ckdo. Figured if you made it, you'd figure you were on a date with Bill Cosby and that you lived to tell the tale. Pass, and well the mortician would know you're a freak.

Glad you're doing better!

Well... I still have a bruised and swollen leg from the blood that leaked out. Looks gross. But at least it ain't bleeding. Doc used some sorta plug for it... Angio-Seal.

Thanks, DMV! It'll grow back...

Felt absolutely great for a week. Then on Tuesday of last week, something went wrong. Went to the ER, was sent to the hospital, ran tests and got released. Back in the ER Thursday... more tests, released.

Said F that bullcrap and went to my cardiologist this morning with no appointment. We spoke briefly about how I WAS feeling and what happened when I started feeling like crap again. To make a short story even longer... he did not want to wait, so I am going in to have the heart cath done again tomorrow morning so he can skip the tests and jut go in and see what's wrong and fix it on the spot if necessary.

If you're the praying type... please pray he finds the problem and it's an easy fix. Otherwise I appreciate all the good vibes you care to send.

Only the good die young, so I should be fine. Anxious

Not gonna lie... scared sheitless. I was really hoping to be healed up and back in the gym by now.

He does not know... but he's concerned enough that he skipped everything and scheduled it for first thing in the morning. Just looked at me and said, "I want to do this tomorrow... we can't wait." To which I replied, I concur!

It's growing back, thank you... but he's going through my wrist this time. Thank God for that because that femoral artery is a beotch to get it to stop bleeding. Plavix won't help that, but he told me to take all my meds that morning.

I greatly appreciate the prayers and thoughts. Means a lot to me. I just hope the Good Lord is willing to make this easy on me. I don't deserve it, but it can't hurt to ask, right?

Well, apparently I am a hypochondriac. Doc went in through my wrist and turned the monitor towards me... Look, Shawn... clear as a bell, blood flowing. I was loopy, but I remember it all.

His idea is that I felt a little weird and got anxious. This is all new to me. My body has to get used to the stent and the fact the blood is flowing a lot better. He told me after 24 hours of letting the wrist heal up, to get back to walking and doing things. No restrictions.

Happy to know if there is something wrong, it ain't my heart.

Appreciate all the prayers and support. You guys are da bestest. Love

Great news MACS! Live for another day. Can't be too cautious when it comes to things like this and better to be safe than sorry. The heart is kinda important part of our miraculous machine that we call the human body.

I met with another neurologist the other day for my brain injury. She came to the same conclusion after reviewing the most recent brain scans as the other neurologist I was seeing (I wanted a 2nd opinion). Some of the capillaries in my brain are damaged and sealed off as a result of the head injury. Maybe I shouldn't have told her of my on and off dizzy spells. With that said, I had to be honest with my issues. Positive note, it's a common issue for trauma head injuries. Some blood vessels in the brain seal off but others are there to take take on the extra load.

She recommended that I still don't drive for the next 6 months (she has the ability and the professional responsibility to report the issues to the RMV to cancel my driver's license). I agreed with her to voluntarily not drive and suspend my driver's license.

I couldn't live with myself if I had brain misfire, vertigo, seizure while behind the wheel and then wake up in the hospital to learn I killed someone.

Hopefully things will be back to "normal" with the head issues by July time frame. I'm not sweating it. I have good friends and family to ride with for running errands and stuff if needed. Things will happen when they happen... I'm not in control of it. I can influence it but I can't control it.

As you said, the brain is pretty damn miraculous. It can repair itself from trauma like that. Praying that time heals you completely.

Wish I had the ability to provide some good options for you, Buckminster. Here’s all I can muster.
#1: My mom could drive you around (not recommended).
#2: Because I’m not using it very often, you can use my brain.

Re #2. Not sure how I’d get my brain to you, which may make you NOT want to choose mine.

LMK if I should call mom.
