I wasn't saying to herf in Key West, I'm just saying nowhere in the state is really too far. I can go from the top to the bottom in a day. Herf's of a certain magnitude shouldn't be day trips. They should be at least an overnighter.

Grew up on fish, raw, fried, steamed, baked, etc. and in my youth never knew any local person that didn’t eat fish. But, my part-Hawaiian neighbor across the street, like you, loves to catch fish but doesn’t eat it. And our SIL’s family doesn’t eat RAW fish, and they’re part-Hawaiian too!

Believe me, I've tried to like eating fish. In WI most fish dinners are fresh water fish like perch, walleye, bluegill, trout. Battered and deep fried. Here in MA, it's cod and haddock.

I've tried them all and add in salmon, tuna, swordfish and everything in between. Tried clams, mussels, lobster, crab... it all tastes like fish to me. There may be part of my brain that is broken that doesn't like seafood. There are many parts of my brain that are broken so the seafood one is another on the list.

Been thinking lately to give it a go again and buy some salmon steaks. Salt, pepper, rosemary pan fried with butter and a squeeze of lemon after it's done.

Lawn mowed, half a bag of milorganite down, sprayed some hose-end non-slow release food. The Bermuda should start taking over the areas left brown from killing off the winter grass.

Gotta submit some piss for for drug screen in the morning for the new job. No worries, the hardest drug in system is nicotine. Just gotta remember to not pee in the morning when I wake up so I have something in the tank for them to sample.

Morning gents. Had a great time herfing with izon yesterday at his new digs. Literally new digs cuz it's only in the foundation stage of progress at this time but we had a few cold beers and cigars taking in the spectacular views of the Superstition Mountains from what will be his back porch someday.

The homeless are still a pain in the ass.

Day five of the clean up from a water heater tank that decided to quit...

on the bright side, root canal tomorrow!

I only participate on my laptop, don't use my phone for this, so sometimes I just minimize rather than log off so it can look like I am active in the forums for a few hours or more even if I am not home

Ouch! I hope you had some good hearing protection. Our dishwasher leaked, after the roar of dehumidifier the noise from sanding of the wood floors about pushed us over the edge.

Good Monday almost noon to All! It's 60° overcast wit light rain on the way to 70° today.

Bucky needs a trip to Cape Cod for a fish and chips meal. I do not like fish, but the fish and chips at Clancy's or Chapin's is why I keep going back to the Cape. I even stop at Kreme and Kone sometimes for some.

But, my son said that was like 6-7 years ago.

1. Juliana's Pizza, Brooklyn, N.Y.

2. Pizza Time of St. Augustine

3. Moose's Tooth Pub and Pizzeria, Anchorage, Alaska

4. Keste, New York

5. Tony's Pizza Napoletana, San Francisco

That was from TripAdvisor in 2015 based on reviews so take it FWIW. Now it is #8 pizza in Saint Augustine. If it can get on a list with Tony’s I’ll try it. I have eaten at Tony’s in SF many times and Tony Gemignani is a 13 time World Pizza Champion.

Limits of Vermilion snapper and then some... and I also got an amberjack. If the boat had a jackpot... I would have won it.

Got ate up by a couple sharks, too... line was cut clean... no hook, but the weight was still there.

Dude pulled up an 8' shark to the surface and the deckhand cut his line. Apparently they don't like sharks that big on their boat.

I am waiting at the Honda dealership for an oil change and tire rotation. $119- sheesh!!!

Supposed to be in the upper 70's today with cloudy skies and showers.

Hope to have my swim in before the rain starts, but as long as the pool is open I am going.

Other than that I have to go like 10 miles to the post office to pick up something that needs to signed for, then maybe a cigar?

Herfing Smoke 'em if you got 'em!

I’ve run the numbers on buying a boat many times and the answer always come out: just charter one. Comes with a captain, a deckhand, and no maintenance.

Well, iffn you are going to be analytical about it there was never a fishing trip that didn't end up costing an exorbitant amount per lb of whatever was caught.

Rfenster needs a swimming platform.
