Cries of infantata.

There are no peaceful pro Palastinian protests around the world. On our campuses the Chant is for global infantata, terrorist activities around the world. Much of the same is occurring around the rest of the world. There is another chant to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. Jews and Jewish students are being intimidated around the world with antisemitism increasing dramatically. No one has the right to do this. At Harvard they removed an American flag and put up a Palestinian flag, the list goes on.

Everyone has the right to gather for peaceful protest as it is freedom of speech. This is not what is happening. We should stop calling them protesters, they are terrorists. This is not to say the Israeli response is correct, I think war crimes and crimes against humanity have and are occurring. Though I certainly have no idea what Israel should do. Also Hamas has no interest in getting food and medical supplies to Palestinians. The first day construction was beginning on the massive floating dock and bridge to land Hamas lobbed mortars at the land sidee construction. Hamas uses Palastinians as Human shields. They operate under hospitals, Mosques, and schools to mention a few. Hamas does need to be eradicated. It is my strong belief the hostages are dead, with perhaps a few alive. The so called proof could be from months ago.

Have you seen and heard some of the "geniuses" that are "up in arms" against Israel spouting their Nazis hatespeech?

No?

Nice nose ring and face diaper!

https://nypost.com/2024/04/27/us-news/gen-z-doesnt-know-why-theyre-protesting-for-palestine/

"Diplomats, negotiators, and world leaders have failed to solve the decades-long conflict.

But don’t worry — the Zoomers have everything figured out!

When I was at Columbia during this week’s protests, I saw signs like “dykes 4 divest,” “gays for Gaza,” and “lesbians for liberation.”

These are Ivy League students with they/he pronouns, and yet they are woefully unaware of the fact that merely being gay in Gaza can amount to ten years’ prison time, according to Human Rights Watch.

I have little doubt that the vast majority of students chanting “Intifada revolution” and “from the river to the sea” don’t really understand what they’re implying.

In fact when a Berkeley political science professor polled students about the chant “from the river to the sea,” he found that, while 86% of students said they supported the chant to some degree, just 47% of those supportive students were able to correctly name the river and the sea in question.

The most popular incorrect rivers were the Nile and the Euphrates.

And the most common erroneous “seas” include the the Atlantic, which is an ocean, the Dead Sea, which is a lake, and the Caribbean.

At least it is a sea."

These are the vaulted institutions of "higher learning"? They have failed on every level. These little jellyfish blobs of emotions are not equipped to balance a checkbook and it's clear why Joetard has to bail out their precious Green pogostick basketweaving degree college loans.

When they wish death to America...that's all the justification I need right there. Death to Israel though? Um, best go back and read a book on the Holocaust.

Hamas couldn’t cough up enough Israeli hostages to exchange for Hamas prisoners in order to get a ceasefire. Hopefully today they will capitulate and show the world that they actually do have live hostages and the ceasefire negotiations will come to fruition.

I did hear that an American was shown on film recently that Hamas has in captivity. 1st time he's been seen since Oct 7th.

Meanwhile, the Israeli opposition still wants their own regime change if they ignore a hostage swap. Think about that for a sec...that's the ONLY thing BiBi has said he wants. Release the hostages and then we can talk about Peace. So far, they haven't. I'm personally thinking what you said out loud. There's just not enough of them to matter. Hamas is playing a game with the media and seem to be winning at it. The IDF needs to take Hamas out, and contrary to what the weak stomached have to moan about...if men, women and children are harmed...it's because they're complicit with Hamas. They're IN ON IT!

Any reporter at these "protests" who asks questions finds out quickly that these are mostly paid, non-student protesters. Often, the protesters have no idea what they are protesting, and freely admit it on camera (hence the protest "media teams" that reporters are directed towards). Generally the media team reveals that they are really the original BDS (Boycott, Divest, Sanctions) club feeling rejuvenated.

DMV, there have been a couple of "proof of life" videos recently. One of them, showing Hersh Goldberg-Polin, revelaed that he had his hand/arm amputated in captivity due to injury. There were Hamas supporters so enamored with Hamas that they went online and spouted that fact as an opportunity to praise the humanity of Hamas! They gave him medical aid! I mean, let's forget that his hand was blown off by a hand grenade Hamas threw at him and he was throwing back. After seven other grenades...

I’m still trying to understand why they just have the police arrest the protesters that don’t have a legal right to be on private property. Perhaps they are worried about creating a Kent State part dieux.

On the other hand it seems the protesters are requiring complete immunity as part of their conditions to leave.

They had a handful of protests in and around MA university campuses. Police came in and arrested those that didn't clear out and took down the encampments. As I understand it, those that could produce university ID's were not charged and let go unless they broke some other laws like violence or damage to property and stuff.

I have no problem with anyone peacefully protesting (even if I don't agree with the premise of your protest - it's your legally right to do so and supported by the Constitution which I do support) If your protest is blocking roads, barking out your protest with bull horns at all hours of the night, setting up encampments where are not allowed then you should cleared away or be arrested for disturbing the peace.

Your right to peacefully protest doesn't include property damage, violence, keeping people up all night while you bark out chants in a bull horn at all hours of the night where people are trying to sleep, blocking roads, sidewalks, alleyways when traffic is trying to get by or (in the case of alleys) fire exits and trash collection, blocking entrances to businesses or living spaces, setting up a bunch of tents and stuff where camping is not allowed. In my opinion, that is not a peaceful protest.

Here is some body camera footage from an Emerson College protest in Boston, MA this past weekend.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8EU8k8YamG4

In my opinion the police went out of their way, tried to reason with them and were patient but the protesters didn't want any part of it.

If a union went on strike (an analogy to a protest) and they blocked entrance to a business, blocked public transportation, set up camps on pubic and private property and so on, they would be asked to clear out or be subject to similar law violations.

‘Not a daycare:’ 12 arrested during student protests at 2 Florida universities

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Protestors at the University of Florida and University of South Florida were arrested on Monday, according to university officials.

UF officials said that nine people were arrested by the university’s police department and the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to the university, charges included failure to obey a lawful command, resisting without violence to trespass after warning. One was allegedly charged with battery after spitting on an officer.

In a release, UF spokesman Steve Orlando announced the arrests, saying that the university had provided ample warnings last week regarding “prohibited activities.”

“This is not complicated: The University of Florida is not a daycare, and we do not treat protesters like children — they knew the rules, they broke the rules, and they’ll face the consequences. For many days, we have patiently told protesters — many of whom are outside agitators — that they were able to exercise their right to free speech and free assembly. And we also told them that clearly prohibited activities would result in a trespassing order from UPD (barring them from all university properties for three years) and an interim suspension from the university. For days UPD patiently and consistently reiterated the rules. Today, individuals who refused to comply were arrested after UPD gave multiple warnings and multiple opportunities to comply.”

Students found violating these rules could face a three-year suspension, and employees doing so could face termination, UF officials said.

Meanwhile, three people were arrested during a pro-Palestine protest at USF’s campus, according to CBS affiliate WTSP.

WTSP reports USF staff tried to move the protest ahead of time. USF officials provided the following statement:

“The University of South Florida values the right to free speech and protecting the constitutional right for individuals and groups on campus to express themselves. This includes peaceful protests and demonstrations that occur regularly on USF’s three campuses without incident and are part of the public discourse of a university. However, the expression of free speech must remain peaceful and not violate the law or USF policies. The university has been clear that violence, threats, harassment and disruptions will not be tolerated.

At 12 p.m. on Monday, April 29, a student organization, the Tampa Bay Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), attempted to hold a protest outside of the library on the USF Tampa campus. The group was placed on interim suspension last week after causing a disruption on campus. Suspended student organizations are not permitted to host events and activities, which the group was made aware of several times prior to today’s protest, including another reminder this morning.

When the student organization attempted to hold a protest anyway, university staff informed them that they were not authorized to continue.”

When the students were asked to leave the library, they moved to the other side of the street, with dozens of protestors chanting “ceasefire now” at MLK Plaza, according to WTSP.

While opposing groups reportedly showed up to the protest holding Israeli flags — sparking tension between protestors — no information was provided on who was arrested or whether any students face expulsion.

This is how adults handle the situation. Start with a warning and slowly escalate until people are getting arrested and then bring in the riot police if needed. Don’t nuke them on the first infraction but continue to escalate response w/o dragging your feet. This just my opinion, the way I would want my kids treated.

Without specific knowledge of individual state statues it’s my understanding that they all have have conspiracy laws on the books. Whomever is funding these organizations it would seem that they are engaged in a conspiracy if those receiving those funds break the law as a result of being funded.

I wonder if that dickhead in NYC would prosecute him in an as aggressive manor as he’s prosecuting Trump for conspiracy?

Children have been conscripted into war throughout recorded history. Most did as told or face certain & instant death for refusing. In fact I wouldn’t be at all surprised if one or two weren’t shot as an example of what would happen to anyone who refused. As such, I’m much less concerned about what he did during the war when he was a child since we don’t know under what circumstances he did it.

On the other hand he is certainly accountable for his decisions and actions as an adult. That in of itself is enough for me to despise him.

At three colleges, the protests are being encouraged by paid radicals who are “fellows” of a Soros-funded group called the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR).

He funds the top level "groups" who then funnel the money to the low level groups. It's specifically set up so he has public insulation from any one funding decision.

All the LEFTY duhmacracy groups love her.

A 63-year-old woman seen instructing student demonstrators at Columbia University is a professional protester who charges as much as $300 for her services.

Lisa Fithian, a constant figure at leftist protests for nearly five decades, was one of the Palestine supporters who 'occupied' Hamilton Hall on Tuesday.

As a counter-protester tried to prevent the protesters from barricading the building, Fithian was filmed telling them: 'This is ridiculous... We’re trying to end a genocide in Gaza.'

Additional footage shows her instructing students to 'Tie it right to the lock' as they held zip ties.

While the presence of a middle-aged woman at the demonstration may have struck some as odd, the Columbia encampment is exactly the kind of movement Fithian has made a career out of.

When asked about her presence at the protest, Fithian denied being an organizer, telling the Boston Globe that she was being smeared by the right.

'They love to hate me,' the activist said, adding that she was on campus on Monday conducting a 'training session on safety and logistics of a protest.'

The Austin, Texas, resident claimed she was invited 'informally' by someone whose name 'she did not catch.'

We’ve got them on UT Campuses in Texas now. I hope Abbot is good to his word and will not put up with these shenanigans. Occasionally I agree with Alan Dershowitz. His thoughts are that these rioters should be sued. Great idea, I think.
