Best. Of today and all time. Any sport. Regardless of whether you like that player or not. I'll start in several sports: NBA- Magic Johnson (Dr. J a close 2nd); MLB- Bambino; NHL- The Great One (think about it); NFL- Too Tall Jones; Golf- Arnies Army (OK, so they didn't play. So what?); Soccer-....just kidding. I know some of you out there will leave me banging my head saying "why didn't I think of him?". Let's hear it.

Baseball is full of them and I would like to add the following: Team nicknames-Pittsburg Pirates of the 70's-"The Lumber Company", Cincinnati Reds-"Big Red Machine", St. Louis Cardinals of the 30's, "Gashouse Gang",Joe DiMaggio-"The Yankee Clipper" & "Joltin' Joe", Ted Williams-"The Splendid Splinter", Joe "Ducky" Medwick, Jay Hannah "Dizzy" Dean, "Hammerin' Hank" Aaron, Wilmer "Vinegar Ben" Mizell, "Smokey" Joe Wood, "Shoeless Joe" Jackson, "The Georgia Peach"aka Ty Cobb, Ryan's Express to name a few of the classic ones and I am sure as soon as I end this I will think of more!
