Let's not finish this 500 until I get my RANT IN Brick wall Brick wall
Sorry MAC USSA Auto SUCKS d'oh!
Since filing a claim with them it's been pure HEL* Online website is lousy. I gave them all the information on Sunday, go on line and gave them information on car repair center I was going use, call repair center and set up appointment for 10am this morning. they go to estimate damage for written estimate to forward TO USSA tech comes in and USSA said damage was left side rear damage is on the right-side rear, have them resubmit correct information. Ok come home and called after giving information ,told them have claim adjuster call me. NO dam call for hours. Finally find out whom is the claim adjuster, told you sent wrong information, ok will call them, receive email tonight claim finalized, go log in after another hassle to get update. Message no further update on claim. BASTURDS Brick wall Brick wall Brick wall Brick wall
Called adjuster after another hassle and left a nice long message concerning their service. SUCKS.
Going back to Liberty Muatual when this is completed. Had them

years ago never a problem.

PM if you want some insight into the process/how to get an adjuster's or appraiser's attention/help? I have done auto claims for 33 years- 27 or so years of which was all I did was every single work day.

Morning, all. I've had good All-State experiences when I've needed them, though I believe the whole insurance model is designed to pay out as little as possible, so generally lean towards scam

Once upon a time I totaled a Hummer H2 with 2k miles on it. Farmers wrote me a check for $10k over what I paid (MSRP) because they were hard to find and going rate was $10k over. That was the only claim I ever made with Farmers but very happy with the process and results. ThumpUp

Morning folks. Sorry about your insurance Ram. I have been happy with Farmers but really never had any claims other than towing and windshields. Don’t really matter what company these days the CS sucks everywhere.

Had an awful Enterprise time when my SUV got totaled. Skipping many details, got upgraded from a Fiesta to a Wrangler for 3 weeks at the insurance covered rate

Only bad experience with them if that helps, Ram

Morning.

95F today with only 17% chance of rain and a breeze. That means lower humidity and that it is not quite full on summer yet. It will be another week or two, then it's full on.

Jumped inn the pool yesterday to cool down after cleaning out the garage for 2.5 hours in the heat. Water temp is 82-84F, which was just perfect.

Wife can't drive yet so I drove her to her OBGYN appointment and am sitting in the lobby. Weird sitting around with a bunch of women who are here to get their snatches examined. They all looked at me kind of funny when I sat down inn the lobby.

A little grocery shopping and rest today.

Tomorrow, my neighborhood worker-kid is coming over at 8:30am to help me clean our windows, screens and tracks for like the first time in 25 years. I had promised my self on the first day of law school that I would never professionally clean a window again in my life. That's not going to be going well tomorrow- but we really need it. Might do the chandeliers too. Might even actually enjoy it for a bit after being out of the business for 35+ years now.

Hope everyone has aa great day!

Believe it or not, they are 1st class/top tier in the industry.

I would not hesitate to use them myself or recommend them to friends and family. Better than Allstate, SF, GEICO, Progressive.

Where/how did it go wrong after you reported it on Sunday? What are your complaints?

Hey Robert, filling claim was fine she took information and was to to turn over to adjuster, problem was she submitted wrong information and when I went for estimate told me sent lift rear, was right rear. So I come home and went online to change, THEN the hassle began over 1 hour to talk to adjuster. Gave her correct information, then received email last night that knew claim information was available, once again go online to check "message NO UPDATE AVAILABLE ON CLAIM. "BASTURDS, so took a chance called repair shop, yes received information. Left a message for adjuster to call me today, still haven't heard from her. So going to get done and cancel policy. I have renters insurance with Liberty Muatual, going to get quotes and maybe use them again. Will keep you updated. Again thanks for your concern and offer of assistance.

I tried USAA for a quote, they claim they are less expensive but their quote was $500 more than two others.
When I had Liberty, they treated us very well during the incident we had (hit a dear at night on interstate) but then raised our rate after two years. If its a comprehensive claim, why are you raising my rate???

All insurance companies are the same. After 3 to 4 years, you have to change to another one.

Cold, damp, breezy, June day. Canada’s fires have had masked the sun for the better part of three weeks. Haven’t been feeling it until the last bike ride (with helmet).

Been asked, not tasked, to go to the area farmers market in search of rhubarb.

Has been a big day already with dog walking, sweeping the deck, and getting the mail. Practically a triathlon.

Make that fuel count. A few pounds of California grown macadamia nuts might go well with the beer.

Got a free shed this morning just had to take it down and move it. So I did. Now it's in the back corner of my lot, can't see it from the house, and will be my wood shed. I have so many wood piles stacked between trees out in the woods with tarp strips over the top and milk jugs filled with water to weigh them down. It's 10x10 so it'll hold a lot of split wood.

Replacement amp came from Crutchfield so I installed that in the ridgeline, works great (as did the first one for 6 hours of use) hope it lasts.

Helped my dad a little bit. Or rather did some on-site evaluation for the work I have to do soon. He's getting a pool, I have to build the deck and cut in a trench and run buried gas and electric.

Auto insurance in MA is kinda F'ed up. I've had state based and regional based insurance companies and there is (in my experience) not much positive things to talk about.

I've used the national based insurance companies and they seem like a better option for customer support, rates, and coverage. Things like Liberty Mutual, Progressive, GEICO vs some of the New England based companies. Typically do some self scouting and also use a AAA membership to see what's available whenever insurance is up for renewal once a year .
