Honestly I don't think it is allowed on any beach or park area but iffn you keep moving you might be alright. You might have to find a shpo but even some of them won't allow it on their premises.

Google California smoke laws. Think I checked it out and Google Hotels that may have designated, smoke areas.

It’s fine in the homeless camps. Prolly illegal anywhere else. Pot is fine though.

87F today rained almost 3" this morning. Sun is coming out, but we are supposed to have thunder storms this afternoon into the late night.

Summer rain is great for my lawn, but sucks for my pool. The rain filled it to the very top of the coping- almost to the point of overflow. It will take almost 3 hours to drain it. Then, there is the issue of the pool water being diluted, which requires more salt and calcium to be added to the pool once it drains down far enough.

I hate my f'n pool!!! Nothing but a money-pit. Did not even go in once last summer. Just use the jacuzzi about 10 times during the winter. But, I do love the sound of the waterfall feature from the raised jacuzzi into the pool...

Can't wait to sell in a few years and move to a planned community (with a pool) in south Florida, where my kids will be living. I hate south Florida, but that's where my kids (and future grandchildren) will be) so I do look forward to it.

Looking forward to watching the fights tonight on the vherf. Anyone can join in. PM Celtic for login and password.

Hope everyone is having a great day. Herfing

We rented a house here in Houston that has a pool to test whether we wanted to buy one. Nope. We went with the planned community with two pools at the clubhouse for our house we are building.

I don't understand why it takes that long to drain. I can take my pool down about 1" in 3-4 minutes using the back flush so 5" in 15-20 minutes. I guess it depends on the size of the pool as mine is about 18000 gallons. You siphoning that with a garden hose?

Got home before 6pm. Got everything unpacked and put away. Beer fridge is well appointed for awhile.

Took some state routes through small towns going through Alabama and Georgia. Beautiful country. Was using the Waze App and damn if that thing didn't help me avoid Atlanta like the plague. I enjoyed the 40 route much better than the 10. Less traffic, it seemed to me. Going through some of the back country on the state routes was cool. Even stopped at a DQ to get Tank an ice cream cone.

I ain't going nowhere for a bit...

And as soon as I got into Florida? Torrential rain. Which cleaned the dust and bugs off my truck.

I think one was z6joker9. everyone called him Mo (don't read into that) but his real name was something like Ahmed, I think.
Nice kid, got a couple recipes from him years ago, Mideast stuff, labneh and kuftah type stuff.
I'm almost positive he went to Ray's gathering a couple times but I just can't seem to come up with the name of the other guy from Tupelo.

If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
When the levee breaks, I'll have no place to stay

Mean old levee taught me to weep and moan, Lord
Mean old levee taught me to weep and moan

It's got what it takes to make a mountain man leave his home
Oh well, oh well, oh well

(Not the best lyrics nor the best singing from Robert Plant but the music behind him is pretty great)

Pretty much the same volume. No siphon.

My 2.5HP pump drains it out through a garden hose to the street. Would love to send it all through underground plumbing into the house's main sewer line. But, that is no longer permitted. Would also love a 2-3" hose. I could drain it real quick. But, hey. That's life.

How is your cartridge set-up doing? Much easier now?

Good evening to All!

No results yet for the match earlier today, I did OK. The best part is I sold my unlimited benchers rifle to another shooter. I really like the rifle, but the rifle and the one piece rest were just too hard on my back

Just the opposite here. The city doesn't want it to drain into the storm system as that had oil and grease from the roads. The sewer clean-out goes to a different recycling system that cleans the water and can be used for golf course watering.

The new cartridge filter system is working great and a lot less trouble than back flushing was.
